Food for thought. Does equal protection under the law trump the 10th Amendment, or does the 10th supercede equal protections? Or is there a third option not addressed in this article?

The Civil War didn't erase the 10th Amendment.
The government is always making amendments with exceptions and exemptions, I really do not see why this should be any different. That article is the first time I have ever seen the phrase ' regulation of domestic relations' and it took me a few seconds to form thoughts that were suitable for typing here. Why do we need our relationships governed?
