I know a friend's nephew who was homeschooled.  Kid got congressional approval to go to Annapolis, graduated and then spent 18 months getting his Master's in nuclear engineering and now has to hitch rides on other subs to get his certs because his sub is in dry dock for who knows how long.  lol
