No actual threat was ever made, it was overreaction to a criticism. The shirt was no more a threat of violence than a shirt with the words "thermonuclear bomb" on it, or even "I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. Damn, I just swallowed my gum."
Using the "he was asking for it, just look at how he was dressed" line does not excuse the crap job done by these government employees.

So, let's change the scope of this conversation. Let's say it's a girl wearing a tShirt that says "I like to F-CK." Since she's looking for attention, does she deserve to be raped?
It is neither illegal nor unconstitutional to be a tool or an attention whore. I personally think the shirt is funny. How does wearing a shirt endanger people? How does this Keystone-cops-style reaction make us any safer? I agree, I'll be avoiding Delta in the future.
