Well, that sucked. I was just in the middle of using the +1 button on a website to share to Google+, had a long opinion all typed out and scrolled back up to make sure I spelled something correctly when the +1-window disappeared and so did my write-up. 

Very annoying.

That has happened before. And no matter how hard you try, the second typing isn't as impacting as the lost one.

I've learned to copy to clipboard a lot. ;-)
