This paragraph, I think, is the most important and sums up the alarm within the #DonaldTrump administration perfectly:
Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over.
Of course, this is just more fodder for the so-called "deep state" conspiracy theorists and and may enrage #TrumpNation to the point of boiling over, but we as Americans - as the world - need to understand what's happening in the White House.

Its not a "constitutional crisis" to follow it! its one to keep this situation going.
No lets be honest. The President doenst mind. Putin doesnt mind.
Nor does Republicans colluding to keep him in office, despite having to undermine him daily to keep the country going.
************
its not a Constitutional crises to follow the Constitution to the letter.
its a Constitutional Crises to act outside it, or beyond it,
its a Constitutional Crises to do the things in this article.
the 25 th Amendment is a Solution to Constitutional Crises. ( one that occurred before and ones happening now ) .
Liz Warren has said the same thing yesterday.
If Senior Staff cant trust the President ( so much they steal things from his desk ) we are already in one.
And, if some alt-right a-hole or christian evangelist decides that's the opportunity for an uprising, or revolt, who do you think has all the guns in this country? Is it the liberals or the conservatives? Sure, you might claim the police would step in, but are police typically conservative or liberal? But the military! And who does the military report to? The National Guard? I don't know where you live, but the National Guard in Colorado has under 4,000 troops for a state that's 104k sq/miles spread across roughly 5.6 million people.
It'll be The Purge in real life all because Trump supporters would rather follow a cult of personality than see the truth.
There's a reason it's called a "crisis".
Its just "the plain ole "Constitution" . Literally.
No it wouldnt lead to the Purge. It wouldnt even kick Trump out of Office!
"And who does the military report to? "
Read the Constitution and read the 25th Amendment. Its spelled out very, very very clearly.
There is a perfect series of normal public Procedures for trump to get full power back if he could.
Your resposne is hysterical. The 25 amendment doesnt make Bernie or Hillary President. It makes Pence Acting President through a serieds of Votes of Confidence .
Yes, Conservatives will line up right behind him.
Most if the Conservative Media Machines will swing behind Pence , lock the gate closed, and say Trump went cookoo for cocoa puffs / or is a Democrat making therm look bad
No., I actually dont think Trump will fight it.
Because he gets to stay President in name only ( which is what he wanted in the first place ! ) making speeches, doing bullshit things. He doesnt even lose the title, or get impeached.
The important decisions just get routed around him.
No a "Constitutional crisis" is when Rooselvelt or Reagan were sick or senile and no there was no Procedure for dealing with a novel situation, or it wasnt used.
a "Constitutional crisis" is when the "Constitution" isnt clear what should be done.
if Trumps own conservative appointees hold a vote to sideline him, hes done.
