I still think Toby Maguire was an excellent Peter Parker. He was only hamstrung by the script and direction he received. Not that the first two #SpiderMan installments were bad, they were merely as they were intended to be: campy. While the Andrew Garfield SpiderMan films were decent enough (direction and FX wise) Garfield made a terrible Parker, but then again, I don't think Marc Webb really understood the character. Tom Holland has been a good Peter Parker, and Spider-Man, and yet I couldn't really like the storyline in Homecoming . Yesterday while the weather was warmer (about 75f in town) I decided to go for a ride because today was rain and cold, tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and cold and, you guessed it, Sunday is looking to be rainy and cold. So, I put about 300 miles on the bike using this route (there and back). It was fun. No one to slow me down or entice me to go faster, very few cars blocking progress and those few who were generally pulled over to let me pass. At least while heading north. Remember the other day when #DonaldTrump vowed to help China's ZTE corporation create more jobs? I am woefully behind on going through requests for entry into this community leaving a list of people to get in here about a mile long. Yesterday was my birthday. I had plans to spend the morning on a motorcycle ride with my friends, but the (threat of) weather didn't cooperate and we canceled the ride. Because the ride was cancelled I had an entire day I didn't plan for and I did almost nothing for the day. How bad was it? Even my mom sent me a text message saying they were celebrating my niece's birthday (she's May 6) and therefore she couldn't find the time to call me for mine. A call from my brother who's daughter they were having a birthday party for and a text message from another, leaving 1 brother and two sisters who couldn't be bothered to reach out. A few other friends reached out to me throughout the day, but yeah ... this might have been my most depressing birthday in a long time. Years ago I was at a dog park when a couple and I started talking about our mutts . The couple admitted to sending away for a #DNA kit for their dog - so they would know. After the husband walked off to use the restroom the wife admitted she had the dog's DNA tested multiple times and each time it came back with different results.
