Looks like Google is investing resources into the video editing function within Photos. While this is a good move, it makes one wonder if Google would rather people start using Photos as their personal vlogging platform of choice and reducing the stress of the YouTube servers in the process. It's no secret Google wants YT to compete against the likes of Netflix and Hulu for your streaming time and that means turning the content of YT into something more respectable than "Baby eats booger" or "Here, hold my beer ... "
