It seems like more and more horror stories about flying United are coming out. This particular story comes from Google+'s very own Trey Harris, whom I did not know had such severe arthritis.

Next month, my son got us tix on United to fly to NC to sprinkle my mom's ashes in the memorial garden at the Eno River UU Fellowship with my dad's. It will be a little family reunion for the memorial service.

I keep having to resist the temptation to make all the jokes about my mom not being a guitar... while my guitar gently weeps... the jokes just kind of make themselves...

You need special clearances to take human remains on a plane. Really? The anxiety this trip is getting pretty overwhelming.
