Contrary to polar opinion, I didn't think Man of Steel was a bad movie. Was visually too dark? Absolutely. And yet, it was a good movie about a man who didn't know who he was. The destruction of Metropolis was a bit overdone, but when you have proverbial gods fighting there's bound to be destruction.
