Okay, so I finally read the John Derbyshire blog post that so infuriated the population of this country that the National Review fired him. All I have to say is wow. And not in a good way. Have you read it? Attached is a reprinting, if you haven't.

I will have more to say later when I'm awake and whatnot.

Exactly, Alice Cabrera. That Derb wrote it is not shocking. That millions of people agree with him and feel the same way is so incredibly depressing. Things like this sadden my hope for humanity.

Black people have stereotypes about white people? I mean, I always knew that but that they're worse than white on black stereotypes shocks me. Hmm... I'm going to have to go look those up.

Wow I didn't know "white" people really had conversations like this to their kids.. I knew other races have talks with their children.. like the one my Mexican family had with me many moons ago, but it was nothing even close to this. This is just wrong. I honestly hope his children go and find themselves true happiness whether it be black, white, asian, mexican, etc.. WTF is "White" anyways?

I'm for all intents and purposes white and I do not recall a conversation warning me about other cultures. Not until I was older and told: don't go to Miami, there are too many Haitians; don't go to NYC, there are too many gangs; don't go to this side of town, that's were all the blacks/Mexicans/Turks live.
But never as a kid.
