Why, you might ask. Well, because I'm watching 40 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the 90s on VH1 and they're all good songs.

I remember "Walking in Memphis" haunting a lot of the 90s for me.

I was in the military for much of the 90s and didn't really pay attention to pop-culture too much, but yeah, it's a good song. It evokes strong visuals and that's awesome in my book.

Jason ON Call me crazy, yet I'm gonna thank you for sharing this post with us. Like yourself I didn't really pay attention to pop-culture too much, yet when it comes to a song like "Walking In Memphis," I have to agree that it is a song that evokes strong visuals. If a song has the ability to paint a beautiful picture in my mind, I will pay for the CD and add the music to my listening library.
