It's the same with many shows and movies, no? The Rebels in Star Wars, the freed humans in the Matrix (Agent Smith calls humans a virus, feeding on resources until there's nothing left, then moving on), etc. etc. - funny how that works...

The crew of Serenity never played at anything but the bad guys. They were thieves, pirates, scavengers and mercenaries. Cracked made a video as though it's some huge revelation that the crew was anything but the bad guys.
