I uninstalled the Cortana app a few weeks ago for a number of reasons, most significantly the way it used my lock screen and made getting into my phone annoying. This is on Android, of course. I also don't use it on Win10 due to the requirement that GPS be turned on for it to function. Same with Google Now. Why do you need my physical location to answer a question or search the web for me? Sure, Now and Cortana need it for certain functions, but if GPS isn't turned on just make those functions unavailable or five less specific information. Yes, I know they (Microsoft and Google) want to track my device so they can sell my patterns and habits to advertisers, but I'd like to keep some mystery to the relationship. https://mspoweruser.com/microsoft-revamps-cortana-android-ios-fresh-new-look-brings-uk/
