Good job! America needs more entrepreneurs like this man!

Ronald Barba is yet another one of those tech reporters who  uses Google+ about once a month (and not once in the past 6 months), thinks he's an expert in the stream and then tells people Google+ is dead. My problem with people like him claiming Google+ is Zombieland is that he's not using the platform. He linkdumps a couple of times a month, at best, and then tells his friends the Plus is a deadzone.  Just go look at his Stream:  https://plus.google.com/u/0/+RonaldBarba/posts Not only does he only broadcast instead of engaging in the conversation, but his only "+1's" are to his own publication.  He's a clear example of what Mike Elgan spoke about in his article: I'm not using it, so no one must be using it. I can't sit here and talk about user numbers, user engagement, statistics or anything else like that regarding the Plus. I can only say I'm not special. I don't post one kind of content (ie: a photographer or social media "expert...

Over the years I knew many people who were not religious but were sent by their parents to religious schools, supposedly for the superior education. This didn't just apply to nonreligious people, though. He is a public student of a public school, run by the state, and was made to feel as though he'd done something wrong for merely expressing his beliefs.  We're talking about two kids on the playground here. Neither kid was proselytizing, they were just having a conversation. And one student became so upset that she started crying for nothing less than her classmate not believing in her god. So a teacher took it upon herself to shun the little nonbeliever. Would the teacher's behavior have been okay had he been Jewish and not believed in Jesus H. Christ? Or Muslim and not believed i...

Google at Starbucks is way better than anything else I've seen.

Maps!! I love maps, as you all know. And this is really fun to look at when you want to compare the world. Originally shared by Yonatan Zunger Did you ever wonder what you would hit if you sailed due East or West until you ran into something? That may be slightly arbitrary, but it's cool, especially with brightly colored maps to illustrate it from all over the world. So, Apple wants to get into the carrier business and they just announced Siri voicemail transcriptions? And people still think they're innovative? Originally shared by TIME Think twice before you renew your plan, iPhone users. http://ti.me/1MHuRKP

Is there a whole industry out there convincing cops to shoot first and claim self defense later? http://www.rawstory.com/2015/08/psychologist-who-trains-cops-to-shoot-first-ask-questions-later-makes-big-money-at-their-trials/
