Looks like Supernatural will try the spin-off thing again. A few seasons ago they tried to backdoor a pilot about a new hunter in Chicago who traverses the politics of rival monster families, but it went nowhere. Now they're going for a young all-female cast. Maybe this means the Supernatural actors are ready for an end but the CW doesn't want to give up on it's popular franchise and maybe it means the execs over at the CW realize a lot of women watch Sam and Dean Winchester every week, but they fail to realize why. As a female friend of mine says, "Two hot guys having drama? Does anyone remember when Facebook defended their decision not to ban alt-right and Nazi persons or groups based on the whole freedom of speech thing? Now they're bending over and taking it from not only the US government but foreign governments as well.
