Some of these I already knew and some I already practice to limit my gubment footprint. How to Ditch Big Brother and Disappear Forever The changing of addresses and spellings of names on bills and the like were some good advice, though. That I hadn't thought of. Of course, most of my mail goes to a mystery address anyway. :)

I've used a couple of these over the years: GIMP, Thunderbird, Firefox, Google Desktop and OpenOffice. Amazing Softwares That Are Free Anyone have any experience with some of these others? And CCleaner  now has 64-bit support.  Nice!
