I walk the dogs in the morning, I walk the dogs in the afternoon and I walk the dogs in the evening. Sometimes they're more than an hour walk and sometimes they're about 20 to 30 minutes. Each and every time, though, I feel naked if I don't bring my cell phone along with me. Not that I cannot be without my phone. I think it has more to do with watching Law & Order  franchises and other crime dramas. It's not that I cannot be untethered from my phone it's that feeling that Murphy's Laws will take the reigns and that one time I'm without contact to the police or other emergency services I'm going to need to call for help or to report something. That feeling kind of annoys me. Didn't we all, well most of us all, used to live without cell phones? Didn't we used to have to walk or run to the nearest phone when an emergency occurred? I remember in the late 90s (pre cell phone) when I was walking near my mother's house in Florida when I not...

I haven't complained about T-Mobile much on this blog, but instead have made my complaints known on social media, specifically Google+. I've had numerous problems with their network and have called to complain countless times. I have troubleshot with their CSRs and Tech Support, changed out my SIM for a brand-spanking new one, and downloaded apps I was told (by T-Mobile retail staff) would help stabilize my network connection. Today, on my monthly sojourn to the T-Mobile store to pay my bill, I again mentioned my dissatisfaction with my bill of roughly $90, and the non-consistent service I've been getting for a while. I ca literally sit in one place and and watch as my service goes in and out, or be using my device and in the middle of adequate service, the entire voice and data connections is lost. at&t to block Android phones from installing software that doesn't come from th Android Market thus going 180 degrees from the "open" platform that is Android. ANDROID GUYS We all expect Apple and at&t to do this but the whole idea about Android is that it's open . With news like this, I'm so glad I left at&t last year. They already had horrible customer service and plans that were highway robbery, but now they want to take away your right to have your phone the way you want it. Which is their prerogative, however, if that's the case, shouldn't at&t stay away from "open" technology? Shouldn't they purge themselves of technology that encourages open use? Does anyone know Google's reaction to this? Probably not negative since this will be their second Android phone on at&t's network at at&t's rules.
