I'm still not sold on this #Venom movie. I mean, how can you have the symbiote without #Spider-Man first? The Venom-symbiote goes through so many changes because of it's time with Peter Parker that makes it what it is before it finds its way to Eddie Brock via their shared hatred of Spider-Man. I fear this is just another failure by Sony Pictures Entertainment . They should have gone with #SinisterSix film as the villains don't need Spider-Man first. #Spider-Man is going back in black. The question is, is this a good thing or just a marketing ploy to get people hyped about the #Venom movie starring Tom Harding? I'm still confused as to how you can have a Venom movie without first introducing the symbiote in Spider-Man. The whole drama with Eddie Brock and Peter Parker is integral to the character as well as the symbiote's love for Spider-Man. I really don't have high hopes for this film. I know Sony is very interested in making their "universe" but they're doing it wrong. They should have stuck with the Sinister Six movie, a la Suicide Squad , and called it a day.
