I'm watching the old movie pilot for the #BattlestarGalactica remake that aired on the Sci-Fi channel in 2003 and I see a Firefly-class transport in the background of one of the scenes. I quickly grabbed my phone and recorded it only to discover I'm not the first to notice this nor was it coincidence. #Firefly #Serenity http://www.syfy.com/syfywire/image-day-epic-firefly-easter-egg-battlestar-galactica

Fox actually makes pretty good television programming so I would be interested in seeing their concept for this show, but it has been 14 years ... would the original cast be willing to return? Should they, or should Fox start over with a clean slate? Or, perhaps a different crew aboard a similar ship? I don't know. As much as Id like to see more Firefly nothing is screaming "yes!" to me. #Firefly #browncoats #Serenity http://nerdist.com/fox-is-finally-interested-in-rebooting-firefly-but-there-is-a-catch/

Why is it called firefly ? Simply put, the ship's the most important character, that's why. Read a chapter from the upcoming biography about Joss Whedon. The great thing is, the chapter is about the creation of a space western we all know and love. #firefly #serenity   http://io9.com/the-real-reason-why-joss-whedon-named-his-space-western-1614273050
