Marie Severin, Marvel Entertainment icon, died at 89. She worked on #DrStrange, The Incredible #Hulk and many more titles during her decades - yes, decades - at Marvel. During Severin’s tenure, Marvel’s creative staff was almost entirely male, and it was difficult for her to find her place socially within the cliquey industry. “They say that women gossip, well networking is male gossip, and they ‘networked’ all the time,” she once joked. “Sure, I’d have lunch with them once in a while, but the conversations were always male; it was just normal. First of all, nothing is stronger than the #Hulk. He is the strongest there is , after all, and has been shown to have near-infinite strength. As for #Groot, maybe I missed it my two viewings of #InfinityWar, but Stormbreaker is not Mjorlnir . Mjorlnir is made from Uru metal, but we don't know what Stormbreaker is made of, only that it took the energy of a dying star to make it malleable enough to mold. And Captain America? Seriously? Instead of Age of Ultron I was kind of hoping for the Leader to be the big bad guy in the Avengers sequel. I wanted the #Hulk's to have a starring role as he and the rest of the team fought off smaller hulklings the Leader was creating. Instead we got Ultron as the Avenger's nemesis and just wasn't good. But that’s simply not enough. The Incredible Hulk deserves more – and so do his fans.
