Went Camping
A lot has happened in the past month and I decided to reward myself with a few days away from the world - I went camping. I spent each night in a new place, got a sunburn and read a 600+ page novel and it was fun. First night was just up the mountain from Idaho Springs, CO so I could come down quickly the next day and take a video call. The next night was spent at about 12,000 feet above sea level. It was cold at night and even during the day in the shade. I had to sit in the sun just to stay warm and, well, that's where the sunburn came from. At night you could see the greater Denver metro area's suburbs from this view. Third night was from this old staple. I wanted somewhere a little lower in elevation so it wouldn't be so cold overnight, which this was, but I ended up at a slight angle and couldn't sleep well through the night because I kept rolling to the right.
